STAFF INSTRUCTORS
KIM R. EXNICIOS, NREMT-I

Mr. Exnicios is the senior instructor at First Response Training Services, LLC and has been an Emergency Medical Technician since 1995. He completed his Initial Training at Delgado Charity Nursing School and passed his State and National Registry Board Exam in August of that year.
After 2 years of service, He
completed Advanced Level Training thru Delgado and received the Intermediate
Certification. The following year he completed Instructor Training thru The
American Heart Association & The La. Bureau of EMS. In 1999, he became
Training Center Faculty for The American Heart Association, Regional Faculty
for American
Safety & Health Institute, and a PreHospital Pediatric Care Instructor thru The National Association of EMT'S. During this time, He also served as a National Registry State Examiner for The La. Bureau of EMS.
For the first 5 years of EMS service, He served as a volunteer EMT with the New Orleans Health Department and Asst. Chief of Fort Pike Volunteer Fire Department. He worked in private EMS in New Orleans and 2 years of Industrial EMS.
He currently is a member of The National Association of EMS Educators, The La. Society of EMS Instructors, The National Association of EMT'S, The La. Association of EMT'S and The New Orleans River Region of EMT'S.
He currently is Training Center Faculty for The Tulane Simulation Center thru The Tulane School of Medicine and holds Instructor Certifications thru: The La. Bureau of EMS, The American Heart Association, The National Association of EMT'S, The American Safety & Health Institute, and Medic First Aid.

ALFRED JUNO, NREMT-B

Alfred J. Juno, Jr. has been an Emergency Medical Technician since 1989, He proudly serves as an Operator with The City of New Orleans Fire Department for the past 30+ years and is also a Certified First Responder.
He currently is Affiliate Faculty for The American Heart Association and Training Center Faculty for The Tulane Simulation Center thru The Tulane School of Medicine and holds Instructor Certifications thru: The La. Bureau of EMS, The American Heart Association and The American Safety & Health Institute.
He also served as Adjunct Faculty for Delgado Community College City Park Campus
Allied Health Division for the EMT Basic Program and as a State National Registry Examiner
for The La. Bureau of EMS.
STEVE SHAFER, NREMT-P

Steve Shafer, has been an Emergency Medical Technician since 2000, He proudly serves as a Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Training Division of The Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office for the past 5 years.
He currently is Training Center Faculty for The Tulane Simulation Center thru The Tulane School of Medicine and holds Instructor Certifications thru: The La. Bureau of EMS, The American Heart Association, The American Safety & Health Institute and The National Association of EMT'S,
He also served as EMS Operations Director for OnCall Ambulance Service in New Orleans, La.
and Training Director for Advanced EMS in Franklinton, La..
