First Response Training Services, LLC, is very excited to be offering a new community program and helping Our future leaders in the process!!

Training by Donation

Training by Donation is a regular HeartSaver FirstAid and AED course made free of charge to the listed programs. The same skills are learned and practiced. Course completion cards, are mailed out after successful course completion.

What makes the course different is that there is no set fee to attend. However keep in mind that there are expenses involved. Course TextBooks must be replaced if needed because of damage or course updating by AHA. Mannequins and Face Pieces must be Decontaminated and Bleached. There are disposable supplies that must be purchased and discarded after each class; such as Barrier Devices, Bandages, Gauze, Tape, Splints and AED pads. We also must pay the AHA Training Center to issue the CPR cards and the cards need to be mailed. Please consider these expenses when making your donation for the course.

Who's Eligible - Benefits?

Any SouthEast Louisiana BoyScout Club or GirlScout Troop, Leaders, Volunteers or Camp Counselors.

Any SouthEast Louisiana U.S. Navy Sea Cadet or Young Marine Program.

How can a Club Register for a Class?

Just contact your local Club, Troop, Council Office or call us to schedule a available Day, Evening or Weekend Class @ 504-243-1750. Class Dates are booked in the order they are received / requested.

How much should I donate?

The amount of your donation is up to you. I am donating my time to offer this course. However there are out

of pocket costs associated with offering courses. Please consider the costs involved with the course when deciding upon your donation. It takes approx $ 10.00 per student to cover the costs.
